Handmade from strong, 5/8" BioThane and equipped with two snap clips, our Safety Straps provide an added layer of security in the event of gear failure. Available in 10", 12", and 14" lengths (measured end-to-end from clip to clip), these straps are ideal for connecting a collar to a harness, or a leash to a collar when the leash is attached to a harness. When using the second setup, be sure to connect the strap to the fixed eyelet at the base of your leash clip for secure placement. Each item is carefully handmade in our Georgia workshop.
Sizing: To determine the appropriate size, measure either from your dog's collar D-ring to the harness clip, or from the collar D-ring to the eye opening of your dog's leash snap (the base of the snap where the leash feeds through, situated below the swivel) while it's connected to the harness (based on your intended use). Make sure to include several inches of slack to enable your dog to move comfortably while the strap is in use. If uncertain, opt for a larger size to accommodate movement.

Please note: When a Locking Carabiner is selected as the clip style, all related hardware such as D-rings and screws, will automatically be finished in black. If you’d like a different hardware color for these parts, please include a note with your order at checkout.
